Which BMW models are compatible with BYTEREAD?
BYTEREAD currently supports three BMW chassis families: E46 (3 Series 1998–2006, including M3 S54), E60/E61 (5 Series 2003–2010, including 530i, 535i, and M5 V10), and E90/E91/E92/E93 (3 Series 2006–2013, including 335i and M3 S65 V8). Each model gets full plug-and-play support with a vehicle-specific vent bracket — no wire splicing or permanent modifications required. F-series support for F20, F30, F80, F82, and F87 is coming via free over-the-air updates. Available sensors vary by engine, but typically include boost pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, EGT, RPM, throttle position, lambda/AFR, and DTC codes.
